A Cooling Tower Headed to Henan, and a Sales Logic That Doesn't Push

In the loading area of Oasis Bingfeng, a large hybrid flow closed-circuit cooling tower is being hoisted. The trailer plate reads "Yu A" - destination: Henan.

This order didn't come quickly. The customer compared four different manufacturers, from their first inquiry in early March to finally placing the order in mid-April. Over the course of more than a month, we did just one thing: laid out the specs, the design, the materials, and the after-sales service clearly. Nothing more.

The customer's process requirements were specific - cooling water flow, inlet-outlet temperature difference, installation site dimensions, local climate conditions. We opened up the entire selection calculation process for them to see: why this tower type, why 304 stainless steel coils, why the spray water volume was set at this value. Every design decision was based on the customer's own operating data, not a sales manager's "best guess."

When the customer asked other manufacturers, they got price quotes. When they asked us, they got design proposals and selection justifications. The customer said we felt more like engineers than salespeople.

Material selection was also worth mentioning. The customer's industrial park has trace amounts of corrosive components in the air. We recommended upgrading the coil material from standard 304 stainless steel to 316L stainless steel, and itemized the price difference and expected service life for both options on the quote, letting the customer decide. They ultimately chose 316L - not because we "pushed" it well, but because the data comparison was clear enough that they did the math themselves and made the right call.

We took the same approach with after-sales service. We didn't just say "24-hour response." Instead, we told them: where our service team is based, how long it takes to reach their factory, which warehouse stocks the common spare parts, and how fast we can ship in an emergency. No hype, just information.

So after over a month of conversations, the customer said: "Let's go with you."

Not all cooling towers are called "Oasis Bingfeng." Because not every manufacturer is willing to lay out their entire proposal for the customer to see, and let them make their own judgment. For 24 years, Oasis Bingfeng has adhered to one principle: explain the specs thoroughly, and give the choice back to the customer. What customers need isn't to be persuaded - it's to be fully informed.
