Indirect cooler, using the evaporation of the spray water, brought out by the air outside the indirect cooler, to cool the circulating medium in the heat exchange tubes, the circulating medium and the outside world is completely isolated.
As the spray water vaporisation, a large number of water vapour and air mixing, humidity increases, the need for strong extraction equipment, that is, fans, these saturated, high humidity, high enthalpy air out of indirect cooler outside. On the surface, it seems that the air is cooled, and at the same time there is evaporation of spray water, referred to as indirect cooler, sometimes also known as evaporative cooler.
Principle of work
Latent heat of vaporization: indirect cooler and closed cooling tower is basically the same, relying on the evaporation of the spray water outside the heat transfer tube, absorbing the latent heat of vaporization, take away indirect cooler closed heat transfer tube in the industrial circulating water medium heat energy;
Between the wall of the heat transfer: indirect cooler of the spray water and air, and the circulating medium is completely isolated, without any contact, indirect cooler. Any contact, indirect cooler only heat transfer, no contact.
