Internal Circulating Water System of the Blast Furnace Cooling Tower: The cooled circulating water inside the coils flows out of the cooling tower body and is pumped to the heat source (equipment to be cooled) by the system circulating water pump. The circulating water heated up through heat exchange then flows back into the coils for cooling.

External Circulating Water System of the Blast Furnace Cooling Tower: The external spray water exchanges heat by contacting the coils and fillers of the cooling tower. After cooling the internal circulating water in the coils, it falls into the lower water tank and is pumped back to the spray water tank of the cooling tower by the spray water pump for recirculation.
